This future goes through different ways. The most important for the Information Sciences are two:
- Digitalizing books: Google and libraries may work jointly. They need each other. Google makes available lots of contents but they need some kind of librarian treatment, like organization and preservation. If not, it may not be a digital library, but a chaos.
- Search improvements: user expectations from search have rightly increased. The other pages of this project are about this theme.
