My name is Ana María. I come from Barcelona (Spain) and study library and information sciences in the University of Barcelona. I was born in 1988, so now I’m a 21 years old.
I started this blog because of a course in Oslo University College, called LATINA (Learning and Teaching In A Digital World). I’m interested in “searchology”, so that’s why I focused my project in the improvements of Google. I’m concerned about the future of libraries as physical places, so this is a subject likely to appear.
Some of the productions in which I’ve been involved are:
1. In Oslo I did a practice with two library science students, called Count the Traffic (CTT): an statistical work. The main resources of it are published. Soon will be completed, I hope.
Students in action: An observation study of the Oslo University College Learning Centre
2. In the LATINA course I did a research on Google improvements. It’s in a page structure in this blog.
3. The first semester of 2010 I had published my first article, based on the first work mentioned here. You’ll find it in the pages 38-40 of this issue of Bok og bibliotek.
